'UrbanHaven started with one ambition: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to Amsterdam. Established by the Müller lineage in 1985, our pizza shop was originally a quaint, family-operated venture, inheriting recipes that have been passed down for generations.
Sophie Müller, our originator, mastered pizza craft during her exploration of Italy, particularly from experts in Naples, the homeland of pizza. When she came back to the UK, she was inspired to offer the genuine taste of Italian pizza, adhering to ancestral techniques and using the finest materials.
From its beginnings as a humble 12-seat eatery, it has flourished into a well-admired community staple, yet our dedication to excellence and genuineness stays intact. We continue to employ classic wood-burning oven methods, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and acquire the most premium ingredients available.
Now, 'UrbanHaven' is still under family governance, with the Müller progeny at the helm, guiding our enthusiastic crew. Although we've integrated some contemporary conveniences, our core principle endures: serving delectable, true pizza that unites people.
